My 3-year-old little boy loves his Buzz Lightyear. It was expensive, but it's worth it. It was one of the best toys he got for Christmas. It moves and talks and keeps him entertained for long periods of time. I'd buy it again!
The Ultimate Buzz Lightyear Figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this toy from disney store in the oaks mall but this was a gift to me from disneyland and I was very happy with this toy.I have read reviews about the first one having problem with the wings but this one has no trouble with the wings at all!The wings are okay on this one and I have no trouble with closing the wings and the fact that they did something really good on this toy and it is a fine toy.My only complainment about this toy is that the head dosen't move at all and is very stiff and I believe that the manufacter disneystore itself made the head really stiff and I read reviews about that the first one moves the head and why not this one but let me see if I can move the head........Nope I can't move it and it just stays stiff but I can live with that. When I press his voice simulator,he speaks very loud and has a huge voice and I can imagine that he can shout to the whole world. This toy is really good and very cool and you can ONLY find this toy at disneystore and that is the only place you'll find it but get it cheap at disneystore for only $19.50 than online because they sell it for $40 or $30 bucks and that is really expensive but you can always pick up this buzz lightyear toy at disneystore and online and this is the ultimate buzz lightyear figure ever!If you're looking for a better buzz then this is the one and you will have no trouble over this toy except the voice is very loud so I bet parents can get iratated by the sound but at least there is nothing wrong with it and if you buy this toy,you won't regret it well you may regret for all the freetime you lose because you can't put it down but it is an okay toy and is the best!

Toy Story 1 & 2 have become a part of our home for our two grandboys ages 3 & 4. Their imaginations have been released to "infinity and beyond". The Buzz action figure is durable, bendable and provides hours of fun. It's a little hard to sleep with but they don't seem to mind. The working parts and buttons are just the right size for little hands. I love it when they can play abd really get into "character" for hours on end.. very fun toy.

My kids love this toy. It is a little big and bulky and they have a hard time getting him to stay standing. But overall, great toy.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Valentines Day, romantic huh? Well, we have a thing with Buzz Lightyear. Anyway, she loved it, and ended up getting me one too.
I don't quite remember what they are, but most of the phrases besides "To infinity, and beyond!" are pretty lame I think. But again, thats not important to me.
His thumbs are strange, and he is *slightly* hard to pose, all important factors to think about if you're buying this as it's intended purpose: a toy.
However, because these things didn't matter to me, this was a great sentimental gift. |
lots of fun for my toy story character lover

My 4 year old grandson loved Buzz so much, that I decided to have one at my house for him too. Needless to say, Buzz 2 joined Buzz 1 at home so they could have rescue missions together. :-)

Sent to each grandson and they're really impressed with Buzz. These are durable and will last a long time with moderate care. If I were to do it all over again - I would buy the same toy.

Fun action figure, great for kids who love the movie. I was hoping for Tim Allen's voice, but kids don't seem to notice the difference.
Wonderful gift for Toy Story fans!

This was an original Buzz Lightyear action figure. I looked in stores, ebay, and was amazed when Amazon had it. My son really enjoyed his 2008 Xmas because of my purchase.
My son likes it, but I expected more

My son is a HUGE Buzz fan. We call his room a "Buzzroom" instead of a bedroom (there's an "Infinity and Beyond" mural and stars and planets and LGMS). He loves Buzz.
But yet, he doesn't love this toy as much as I thought he would. I think because it is a bit bulky and cumbersome. He does like the voice sounds and the laser. He plays with it quite a bit.
I do not like the limited motion in the arms and legs. The wings are hard to push/ latch back into place. It's cool how this bulky toy can stand on it's own. I miss the karate chop action as the movie describes.
I'm glad I bought this Buzz action figure, but I feel they could have done more with it (like they designers held back to cut the costs). |
My boys love it

It is ok. The wings don't work so great going in an out of their slots, and the bottom body moves and twists all the way around. My boys being 2 and 3 have a hard time getting him to stand because the bottom goes every which way. They love it though and that is what really counts.
Its an OK Buzz

This was my 4th Buzz, it is absolutely more durable than the ones you can buy in other stores (T) However it feels very funny. The glow in the dark paint gives the doll (Action figure)a funny tecture. The wings also come out horizontally not like in the movie, and it doesnt say much. My kids 2 and 5 did not like it.

My son is a huge fan. This was a Christmas present and he was in awe, loves his Buzz. But he is disappointed that out of all of the phrases he does say, our Buzz doesn't say,"To Infinity and Beyond!" which is what every little Buzz fanatic repeats 3 dozen times a day. We're pretty bummed about that too. Also, the wings do pop off often and now are falling off easily because of how many times they have had to be put back on. The paint has worn away on the three phrase buttons and the back panel. Also, the wings don't pop open half the time. But regardless, my son still loves him, so we'll probably purchase another one when this one gives out.
Good toy, but I got it for $19 at Target, not $189 here

I bought my 3 y.o. the exact same 12 inch doll, but for a fraction of the price. I also got it for me... Personally Woody with drawstring is a bit softer and less bulky, but who can go past the audio of Buzz? So we got both. Note: the lazer is an LED (safer), the compass is a bizaar addition, the backpack has wings inside? I hadn't noticed. Will see if I can find it (it fell off already after a week). Legs strong and posable.
check is this vendor is a fake before paying the price... like I say, 20 bucks October 2008. Surely I am not so lucky as get something with a one missing in front of the price?! |

I think I bought this for my son a bit too early as he is only 2 years old but being a Toy Story fan I found this and had to get it. He loved it at first but the build quality is not for young kids as the rear wings are hard to retract even for me and the helmet glass is very wobbly. I put it away for the time being as I was afraid it would break without gentle care.
Great toy

I bought this figure for my nephew's 4th birthday shortly after we watched the first movie together. I was impressed by how sturdy and well made it is and the sound on both the voice and sound effects is excellent. I'm hoping he'll enjoy this figure for years.
